  • Take 10-inch cast iron and keep heating it to medium-high.
  • Add ground sausage, and cook it just for 8-10 minutes, when it turns brown color then heat off.
  • Add sausage and preheat the oven.
  • Reduce heat to medium and push the sausage to the side of the pan.
  • In the center point, add mushrooms and bell peppers and cook it for 5-8 minutes, when vegetables become soft, excess moisture has condensed, and any less cooked pieces moving toward the bottom are soft, then start stirring occasionally.
  • If the pan gets too dry, you can add a little oil.
  • Then turn off heat and pour the marinara sauce over the pan.
  • Spray with shredded mozzarella and arrange pepperoni slices on top.
  • Transfer the skillet into the oven under the broiler. Broil it for 3 minutes. Then the cheese will be melted brown and pepperoni will crisp up a little.
